Programming skills -Development and Validation of Software for CPU
diagnostics tools. The CPU diagnostic tool is chartered to identify,
isolate defects in the processor at bringup and manufacturing as well.
The candidate will contribute to code development & review process and
also provide bug fixes and enhancements to existing and future Sun's
platforms. This will include participation and contribution to
enhancements, sustanance and offer novel solutions to augment existing
diagnostics. A thorough understanding of Computer architecture,
Operating systems, Microarchitecture and UNIX systems programming is
desirable.
Candidates must have solid C programming skills and UNIX background.
Prior experience in the Diagnostics area is desired, but work experience
in a related field is acceptable. Fresh graduates with excellent
credentials will also be considered.
